Holiday Itinerary

DAY 1 - 2

On arrival in Kathmandu you will be met and transferred to your hotel for the next 2 nights. You spend the next day at leisure to explore the historic old town and temples of Kathmandu. You will visit the monkey temple of Swayambhunath, the centre of the Tibetan community at Boudhanath and one of the most sacred sites to Hindus in Pashupatinath. There is also time to visit the heart of the Old town - Durbar Square.

This morning after breakfast you will drive to Nuwakot through beautiful scenery en-route. You are now in the foothills of the Himalayas with snow capped peaks all around. Nuwakot is an unspoilt traditional village as yet pretty undiscoverd despite the wonderful durbar (palace).

Continue your journey through the beautiful scenery to the Old Inn at Bandipur. Bandipur sits on the main routes between Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan and has been an important trading post for years. There are many interesting tribes around Bandipur but the main people are the Nuwar. The views from the town are spectacular and it is a quaint little place to visit.
